It began as a place where you could order ribs with white bread and a beer. This is Dreamland, the best damned BBQ in the South.
Big John, the owner, was a large man dressed in white. He sat at the BBQ pit turning those ribs. The menu was limited but when you drank your beer, dipped your white bread in the sauce and ate those ribs you were in BBQ "Dreamland." We are glad to see the restaurant is still a hit.
Big John is gone but his BBQ lives on...
