The BuzzFeed headline reads "11 Old Tweets from Trump's New Communication Director." The sub headline reads "Pro-Choice, Pro-Fighting Climate Change, and Anti-Russia. Meet Anthony Scaramucci--is any of this true?
BuzzFeed calls the following tweets old. One states "you can take steps to combat climate change without crippling the economy. The fact that many people still believe climate change is a hoax is disheartening." March 10, 2016. Then there is another on August 6 of 2012 which states we (the USA) has 5% of the world population and 50% of the world's guns. Enough is enough. It is just common sense and apply more controls." The next tweet, sent on June 8, 2012 states "I am not a partisan. For gay marriage, against the death penalty, and pro-choice. I am for social inclusion, fiscal responsibility." Then, on November 10, 2011 the new communications director states "I voted for Obama. I think most who have are disappointed, he should have focused on jobs and not healthcare." Finally, there's a tweet from January 7, 2012 which states "Republicans should support gay marriage."
The newest tweet, talking about climate change, was made a little bit over a year ago. The oldest tweet is almost 6 years old. These are fairly current tweets and give an insight into a man whose political views probably have not changed that significantly over the past six years.
We wonder, what is Trump up to? What is behind these tweets?
